In creating images of the grand landscape or intimate landscape, I marvel at the majesty of the natural world.  My landscape images emphasize light and its interaction with the environment.  In making photographs, I am in a different world, taken over by the process, visualizing forms, shapes, rhythms, and experiencing changing moods and emotions. In the outdoors, I feel exhilarated by the sounds of birds, the changing winds and the fragrances carried on the breezes. At times, I have to step away from the camera and just be in the moment.
